 Nursing Home  An Intermediate Care Nursing Facility For the past 50 years, Laurelbrook Nursing Home has been noted for quality care with a "caring" staff, certified aides, a country setting, planned activities, transportation as needed to doctors, and a spiritual atmosphere. It is located next to the Laurelbrook Seventh-day Adventist Church, and residents who are able may attend church in a beautiful little chapel. The nursing home is Medicaid certified. The program has available speech therapy (off-site), physical therapy (off-site), occupational therapy (off-site), and tube feeding as necessary. We cater to the Adventist population by providing wholesome vegetarian or vegan meals. Couples welcome. We provide a variety of activities including outdoors activities in nature. Satalite TV system offers 3ABN, local and world news, and other channels for a small fee. We appreciate your interest in our program. If you need assistance, feel free to contact us. Laurelbrook now offers an Adult Daycare Program. We are currently in the process of adding a room onto the nursing home for this function. We are open for business at this time for a limited number of clients. Laurelbrook HomeCare is available for those whom participate in the Home and Community Based Services Waiver Program (HCBS) through TennCare. We will provide In-home Respite, Homemaker Services, Personal Care Service, Adult Daycare, and Home Delivered Meals. All these programs are through HCBS waiver or private. To use HCBS you must qualify for Medicaid and meet the nursing home criteria for admission, but you stay at home.
