Group Works on Greenhouses
Work on the two new greenhouses near the Laurelbrook Elementary School resumed with a work bee on Sunday, August 30. Lunch and dinner were provided to the workers by a group of ladies headed by Julie Douville.
Those attending the work bee concentrated on three main areas – digging the trenches for electrical wiring and heating lines, putting in the greenhouse ends, and getting the outdoor wood furnace ready for hookup. Work on the project was supervised by Fred Douville, Laurelbrook’s vice-president for operations. He and his wife Julie are very interested in greenhouse and garden work.
